You see, there's this anime streaming site called Proxer.me. Someone recommended it and insisted it was a legal streaming site. For the past few months, I always stick to legal streaming sites when I can to support the creators. I am unsure on whether Proxer.me is legal or illegal. The website says users should only upload unlicensed anime, but I found Baccano and the episodes are available even when it's licensed. The website says it's unlicensed. It does not require a third party video player and I haven't found any ad so far. It seems different from most illegal streaming sites.

Crunchyroll is legal.
Most other streaming sites are not.
Use Crunchyroll if you are serious about wanting to use a legal service.

There's also animefreak.tv, wich seems legally enough since it's been up for years now, though it's only fansubs (decent quality most of the time)

Crunchyroll is honestly your best bet, and it's one of the only online services I pay for since I usually by ~$60 of iTunes gift cards every few months and it's possible to link it to your iTunes account. Plus, it's dirt cheap, or even free if you don't mind lower quality, public streams with ads.

There's hardly any free and legal streaming sites. Most have you pay for it or are riddled with advertisements and sucky load speeds and slow buffers, like Crackle.

There's also AnimeLab however it's relatively new and i believe it's legal.

The only legal streaming sites are those run by the producer or owner themselves, such as viz.com
Seriously, either buy hulu or netflix, or just live with the fact that what you're doing is illegal and no one will do anything about it.

proxer.me is legal, but its a german Website, so only Anime and Manga, that are licensed for Germany can be found there.

Kissanime is definetly the best anime streaming website out there. Ads are not annoying, good players, HD and stable connection.
