I found this site because i watched DRRR! I think that's how most of us found this site...But with all the people doing anonymous invitation, this could be a way to keep track if we're making any progress inviting people. If there's anyone underneath here that found this site through anonymous texts or writings on the wall, than we'll know we're making progress!

I found this place on a random bbs a while ago.

I was lookin up DRRR!! stuffz on youtube when i found a vid for connecting to DG... then one of my friends on there eventually led me to dis site~ :D

Ended up staying here - DG was a bit too... active for me. Couldn't keep track of anything unless I was there 24/7.

I'm suprised to found this cool site!!

Of course, I found this site after watching Durarara. After I google'd it however, I only clicked on Dollars group. It wasn't until I read a post that was looking for a new chat for Dollars group. I noticed someone sent a link to a temporary Dollars group chat, which was the BBS chat. I don't go on DG as much anymore, I find that this site is more similar to what we've seen of the Dollars site in the anime.

I watched DRRR!! too, and the link was in a comment. I followed it and looked up dollar websites on google to check how authentic it was. From the several sites I looked at, this seemed closest to the Dollars from DRRR!!, so I chose this one over the rest, which were more like basic forums rather than an actual Dollars site.

So much talk about Durarara right off the bat, it's no wonder people think this is a fan site.

Just to clear the air about this before all the new people get the wrong impression, watching DRRR is neither a requirement nor the main purpose of the Dollars. Hell you could absolutely despise anime and still be a member of this site - this is only one aspect of our community, albeit a rather large one given its popularity.

Be sure to keep this in mind - don't want the wrong impression that we need to live and breathe anime to be part of this.
...I still think this topic should be on the intro board, it's very introductory in nature.

Someone from my school put the website and password in my locker after I admitted that i watched DRRR. it was signed by 'the dollars'.

Well...It is quite a long story...but I will share anyway..

It was a dark and snowy night on the Northern continent. As me and my crew of assassins and hunters sat in a cave, waiting out the storm, it came to pass that we discovered that our enemies, whom we were to attack next, drew their information from a certain place. We then decided, instead of killing our enemies leader, we would beat him senseless, and demand where their abundance of knowledge derived from...
We set out the next night, at dusk..

As we made our way upon the encampment of our enemy,we were stunned. They had been invaded already, by a much less talented troupe of assassins...apparently it seems, these assassins had the ability to destroy others by chanting spells..however, upon closer inspection, these were simply words of mere stupidity..

I asked my self, "What kind of sorcery is this?!"

One by one, I saw the enemy fall to these demons of dumb.
I couldn't help, but feel a twinge of compassion, where my heart should be...

I then changed the game plan. I ran towards my right hand man, Izeo, about 50 yards to my left, and explained what we were to do. We were going to assist our enemies against these new ones. There was no telling what these fools could do...

After I received the "ready" signal from my comrades, we descended in.

After completing the massacre, and scaring the rest of the damned fools out, we searched the camp for the leader. Eventually, we found him under the floors of the largest tent, that was actually fortified with wood. They had built secret passageways under the tents to hide the leader.
Now, make no mistake, this man is no coward, without him, the troupe would have literally ceased to exist. Not only this, but he was the founder of this knowledge database.After thanking us for saving his troupe from the Fool of Jestrickery, he told us all about this operation.

I knew nothing of the man's words, besides the fact that he came from the future, to ensure a much better one that had developed. Upon questioning me, he decided that I was worthy of becoming part of his operation. I was dubbed Forte_Sigma, and given a specific set of letters to use upon accessing this database.

I find it more appropriate if youre a Drrr fan and you searched for a dollars site and knew the password instead of you know, not knowing anything about Drrr. My opinion :)

there was a youtube video about this site that i just came upon after searching "True Dollars Website" on google.

Im not kidding, someone i dont know really sent me a link and the code, and i was like "No frickin' way!"

I've watched the anime, but I never thought that such a group existed. Last week one of my friends sent me an invitation to join the Dollars. I was skeptical about the group being real until I looked it up. I was surprised to see that the Dollars really do exist :D, but however the reason why I joined was more based on the idea of making a difference in the world; to support others. Little of the reason was because of Durarara. :3

As soon as i finished watching durarara i tried searching if the real dollars website do exist and then i found a few of it. Then there was this youtube video and i read the comments. I found the Dollars when I was in a chatroom. Someone popped in and was lurking for a while, they didn't say anything when everyone greeted them. We ignored them since they obviously didn't want to talk, but once people started leaving they posted a link to the site along with one to a youtube video about this website. Since the owner of the chatroom had long since abandoned it, the link was always there because only the owner could clear the history. I was watching drrr and there was a YouTube recommendation that said the site was real so I wanted to see it for myself.... Joining th dollars, one of the bet decisions I've made so far!

I got it through a txt from an unknown number. it gave me the sight name and password, so I look and ta-dah! hear I am today

People that have not watched the anime do not know what this site is for! They think this site is for chatting and they just start spreading the password EVERYWHERE!
I watched the anime for the password.

Watched the anime and I found out about it on r/anime when somebody posted the website link.

I found this site through friends. She didn't tell me exactly at first. So then i watched the show again. That's how i found the page and password. I asked her about it and she told me tha's how it works. Then i became a member the next day.

I was watchin drrr! and I thought there realy might be the dollars site so I googled it and here I am.

I met a Dollars in Richmond BC. She was the daughter of a friend. We both knew of Durarara, but I didn't know they really existed until that point.

And a while later here I was.

I was just checking out that show and saw where they had a website about helpin everybody so I though there's gotta be somethin like that in the the real world so I did a little research on it and then got recruited to the site. And by the way I love bein a part of this community!

I found the password on facebook and checked it out. I was pleasantly surprised.

Wanted to see if someone had created a real/slight imitation of the dollars. Found this, found the password (Not hard to find ;)) and thought it was really cool.

well, in my case I received an anonymous call on my cell phone, even thought it was a joke of my friends, but remember that none of them watched DRRR! only then the penny dropped that I was actually a Dollar, may find it a lie, but it is not what you want to find.
