synopsis -
The time period is the 2030s. Before the mysterious detective Kogorou Akechi, the Boys' Detective Team is assembled. Their actions have led to the resolution of various small and large incidents. One day, team member Kensuke Hanasaki meets a mysterious boy named Yoshio Kobayashi. Kobayashi, who has an undying body because of an "unidentified fog," wishes his own death and refuses contact with others. Hanasaki takes an interest in Kobayashi and invites him to join the Boys' Detective Team. The encounter eventually leads them to the connection between the criminal nicknamed the "Fiend with Twenty Faces" and Kogorou Akechi. The fate of the two begins to move.
I am currently watching this, it dose seem to be quite good, anyone else watching this?

I was thinking about watching this because my fav character from Bungou Stray Dogs is named Edogawa Ranpo, and this anime keeps coming up when I search him.

It is overall, a very good series.

It's an alright anime nothing really special yet and I feel like they're focusing on the wrong aspects so far; I hope that later in the series they do. There is build up and foreshadowing with Kobayashi and he is obviously is the most mysterious character. Revealing who he is and everything and having it coincide with the plot will really bring out more depth to the anime. Right now it feels like they're just talking about deep stuff just to make it edgy and most of the things they talk about make no sense or are just contradictory. I'll keep watching though just to see where they take it.
