Metalocalypse is an American animated television series, created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, which premiered on August 6, 2006 on Adult Swim. The show centers around the larger than life death metal band Dethklok, and often portrays dark and macabre content, including such subjects as violence, death, and the drawbacks of fame, with extremely hyperbolic black humor. The show can be seen as both a parody and celebration of heavy metal culture.

In the series, Dethklok is a death metal band which enjoys a popularity level unheard of in reality, ranking as the seventh largest economy on Earth by the end of the second season. The fictional band members are Nathan Explosion, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Pickles, William Murderface, and Toki Wartooth. Their manager is Charles Foster Offdensen.

Does anyone here watch this show? If not, I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're into metal, but it's hilarious either way.

Metalocalypse is that show I had been wanting for so long. Metal humour. With such a large 'metal militia/family' SOMEONE had to make this.
Skwisgaar and Toki are my favourite characters. I just love their relationship

This fucking show is an Adult Swim favorite of mine. It took me a while to get into it at first. But after a few watches I find the writing to be spot on.
Shit has definitely gotten real in the latest episodes as well. The The Doomstar Requiem rock opera definitely leaves off with more story to tell.
Also, bump for keeping our board not filled with animu shit.
